WorldWize is a free app that brings travelers together based on their location to share their adventures or to pick up tips and recommendations in real time. Once travelers match up through WorldWize, they are given a chat room to seek and share recommendations, or even to meet up on the road.

While users sign up through Facebook, WorldWize does not limit you to FB friends and friends of friends but rather expands your potential contacts to any travelers who have downloaded the app, are in your area and are looking to connect.

WorldWize stands out in a very competitive landscape. The main difference is that our competitive set focuses on 6 degrees of separation by utilizing a traveler’s current network to find friends on the road. However, in real-life, the friends you make on the road, rarely have connections to your own social set. WorldWize expands the pool of fellow travelers who are interested in sharing the road.
