Solo is a software platform for the 60m+ app-based gig workers to optimize time, guarantee income and provide tools to manage where, when and what jobs to work. Solo tracks data across multiple platforms to provide city-level pay and performance benchmarks, including hour-by-hour earnings predictions that Solo guarantees, making up the difference if pay is less. Solo has raised $5.3m in venture funding from top tier investors such as Slow Ventures, Expa, Red Sea, Fuse and Ascend as well as angels such as Jeff Wilke, former Amazon Consumer CEO, Dan Lewis, CEO of Convoy; Rob Hayes, First Round Capital; and Salle Yoo, the former General Counsel of Uber. The co-founders, Bryce Bennett & Keith Ng, have more than a decade of experience launching & managing marketplaces in the gig economy as early Uber & Convoy employees.
