UI Engineer • Develop Android/iOS user interface for SpeakUp mobile • Interface with PO about user requirements, creating technical/non-technical shared understanding • Provide firm feedback on UI constraints to PO/backend engineers • Create performant, memory-efficient UI architecture • Able to do unit and integration testing on UI components • Possible need to implement app-based P2P protocol • Able to produce an MVP solution quickly • Understands the importance of good documentation UX Engineer • Create UI mockups with PO and UI engineer • Create web mockups with PO and web developer • Provide firm feedback on user experience to PO/UI engineer • Able to do unit and integration testing on UI components • Have a good understanding of market verification techniques (mocking, A/B testing, etc.) Backend engineer • Create API endpoints, batch processes and data-layer functionality for consumption by mobile and web-based consumers. • Provide firm feedback on efficiency, cost, etc. to PO/UI engineers • Able to balance cost and performance in API calls and database usage • Able to do unit and integration testing on backend components • Able to produce an MVP solution quickly • Understands the importance of good documentation Dev-ops engineer • Able to setup and maintain cloud and database resources • Able to automate deployment with CI/CD tools • Accept requests from other engineers for automation tasks
