WhyWave is building a voice AI companion for children ages 3 to 5, the age
when open-ended questioning peaks and every parent runs dry on good answers
well before dinner. It talks with a child the way an attentive adult would,
answering questions in language a preschooler actually follows, inside a
voice and value framework the parent sets.
The product never puts a screen in front of the child. That constraint is
deliberate: at this age, screen time and voice interaction pull attention
in different directions, and the whole product is built around the second
one.
