WhoYou is the world’s first pull-oriented connection application and is the perfect combination between a search engine and a social media platform. It allows a user to set their geographic area and then search for a word or phrase. If another user in that area is searching for the same word or phrase, their profile will appear. The original user can then take a look at their profile (a little bio info, pictures, other searches) and send them a message. The receiver can preview the message and if they accept, a conversation can begin. Also of note, users can add specificity to their searches with a connotation option.

All social media today is push-oriented; users pushing their opinions, politics, humor, etc. onto other users. WhoYou is the first pull-oriented connection application, where users literally pull the information that they're interested in out from one another, creating positive, value-added interactions.
