WhereYouAt is a very fun, diverse, and hard-working team. Most of us on the team are part time and are looking to grow the company to the point where we are fully engaged. Recently, we raised a friends-and-family round that valued the company at $2.6M. This is a good valuation for early members to get some equity (options), but also provides us with enough working capital to get the job done. Our ideal teammate is someone who normally would be working on their own idea, but for ~$5k (when we launch) would work on our idea for some equity instead. We have a really strong and responsive team who will not accept anything less than success. Things are really moving right now, but between an API, website, and iPhone app, we need more developers. The focus is on the iOS app right now because we are the most behind on that. Like any early stage company, we are all working very had. That is why we are reaching out to the AngelList community to see who wants to share in the success. There is too much competition to try to start a company like this alone. We want those looking to do quality work to join our team and push the whole industry forward.
