It is an Instant Shot (photo/video) sharing platform, where users can take a Shot of cool things around, use special tagcodes to tag their Shots, report events and important things. WhatsAround learns its users by the Shots they interact and creates instant stories of places, detects ongoing events, and creates a timeline for places according to each user's interests. It encourages users to provide content with a point reward system, where those points will have a value in the economy generated by platform.
