WearRN is a wearable device (e.g. Smartwatch) alarm notification and event response platform specifically developed for hospitals and acute care facilities. The alarm management software helps address the issues of traditional medical alerting processes which include alarm fatigue, interruptions, lack of contextual information and access to appropriate personnel.

WearRN improves the communication of RNs by offering “hands-free” mobility and direct access to all hospital contacts/clinicians available at the time of an alarm. No more fumbling for BYOD mobile phones or bulky VOIP hospital phones to carry required. RNs can now respond directly to alarms while keeping hands free for direct patient care. In addition, WearRN uses the integrated sensors of the wearable device to track RNs physical movement (miles walked, location) to determine where more efficient workflows can be created and implemented.
