Sploot is on a mission to reimagine pet parenting and make it simple, intuitive and fun. Sploot is a smart community platform for help, discovery and anything else that pet parents need. Pet parents are looking for genuine, trustworthy and relevant information, products and services yet these are rarely found or delivered up to the mark. Sploot is using technology as an enabler to solve this gap in the sector. The pet care market has major information asymmetry between pet parents and pet experts. Technology has barely entered into the sector in India. Simultaneously, another change has happened in the customer base - younger people are adopting pets even before having kids. They are spending more on pets and are tech savvy. Yet their experience with most pet related services and some pet products is much below the benchmark of ease, convenience and quality of other sectors.
