Water Hero careers

Water Hero provides a cloud-connected system to reduce the risk and damage from catastrophic water leaks in the home. Water Hero monitors water flow in the house, looking for anomalous conditions indicative of leaks, and looking for, anywhere in the home they might occur, and automatically shuts off the supply of water before further damage occurs. The device is controlled via smartphone or web browser.

Water damage from broken or freezing pipes costs over $9 billion per year in the US, with similar amounts in Europe and elsewhere. Reducing this risk would address the #1 source of property damage claims, bringing benefits to building owners and their insurers.

Additionally, Water Hero provides information to help homeowners conserve water. The system logs data on water use and sends it securely to the web. Data analytics can help pick up the ‘signature’ of non-destructive but costly leaks such as leaky toilets. This helps reduce waste and saves people money.
