Traditional dating apps are prefaced in connecting individuals with potential romantic partners, requiring users to engage in online conversations to gauge interest. The only issue is that these online chats don’t tend to advance beyond the virtual world, leaving daters with an abyss of endless texting and few dates.

Our team decided to change things up.

Initially a travel app, it was our userbase's feedback that facilitated our pivot to a dating app. Wandure privileges actual dates by changing the structure of dating app interactions. With a new take on dating, Wandure solves the limitations inherent to modern dating by using a person's online presence to strengthen their offline presence.

Wandure is the first dating app to market that leads with in-person meet-ups. On our platform, once users match a surprise date is planned by us based on their shared interests, availability, and budget. Twenty-four hours before the date, the chat is unlocked and the date spot is revealed.
