WanderShield is building a wearable safety bracelet designed for curious kids and confident parents.

Young children naturally explore their surroundings, but in busy public spaces—parks, airports, festivals, amusement parks—it only takes a moment for a child to wander out of sight. Existing solutions tend to fall into two extremes: bulky GPS trackers that children dislike wearing, or simple ID bracelets that only help after a child has already been found.

WanderShield is designed to bridge that gap.

We’re developing a child-friendly wearable bracelet that helps parents stay connected to their child in crowded or unfamiliar environments. The goal is a device that is comfortable, durable, and simple for families to use, while providing peace of mind when kids explore.

Our focus is on creating a product that children actually enjoy wearing and that parents trust when they need an extra layer of safety.

We are currently in the prototype and early product development phase and are looking for an engineer to help refine the hardware, improve the reliability of the system, and bring the concept to a manufacturable product.
