Currently, art exhibitions are confined to galleries and rented exhibition spaces. We believe art exhibitions could become closer to our daily lives, just as music immersed into our lives from the 70s rock concerts to the 90s walkmans to the 2010s where people are listening to music eating brunch in weekends, grabbing coffee in the morning, and having beer in the evenings. Our platform is geared towards the visual artist(painting, drawing, photography, and graphic design) community in NYC, such as arts students, recent graduates, and aspiring artists, who are unable to find affordable venues to exhibit their artwork. There are more than 50,000 visual artists living in New York City. We estimate that each artist produces 6 artworks per month on average, and is willing to exhibit 3 of them. There are 20,000 venues in New York City with walls that are usable for our platform. Therefore, we are trying to create an online platform where artists can seek easier and more affordable venues to exhibit their art.
