The number of pain-points the restaurant industry faces is endless. Customers are always waiting for staff to order and pay. Owners have very low profit margins, and servers have one of the toughest jobs both mentally and physically as shown by the high turnover rate of 80%. WaitRunner was created because we want to create a solution that helps everyone. WaitRunner will redefine the servers responsibilities by taking away their most time consuming tasks and allow them to focus on providing the best customer service no matter how busy it gets. For business owners, we will increase table turnovers and optimize operations by allowing less servers to cover more tables. But despite all these benefits, we see our greatest contribution being to the customer. WaitRunner is going to change the way customers discover new cuisines and menus dishes by providing personalized menus and recommendations based on the customers preferences and history.
