We're democratizing social systems so that any number of community-oriented websites can build with the same powerful and robust tools we see so effectively working on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr and other popular social sites. We think the currently popular social systems leave much to be desired in terms of creating real connection with people. But it's not the tools that hurt us so much as the lack of context. We believe the real power and value of social lies in bringing these tools to content-driven sites that server real communities.
