Voicegain is a startup that is on a mission to democratize speech-to-text by making it accurate, affordable and accessible for developers of intelligent voice applications. We provide an open developer friendly deep neural network based speech-to-text platform with a full set of APIs, tools and SDKs. We make it easy and affordable for businesses of all sizes to build a custom speech-to-text model that is optimized for accuracy in the context of that business (industry jargon, product names, noise characteristics etc). Once built, a business can use this custom speech-to-text model like a utility or resource (e.g. like compute) across a wide range of applications – building a voice bot or speech IVR, extracting insights from recorded audio, providing live assistance to a customer service rep or an inside sales representative.

Voicegain offers both cloud and edge deployments. You can access our speech-to-text engine as a PaaS service on our Google Cloud GPU Infrastructure. You can also deploy a containerized version of Voicegain on your private cloud or in your datacenter on GPU infrastructure.

Voicegain came out of its beta phase in June and opened up its platform to all developers. One week after that, we announced a public benchmark of our accuracy against the big 3 – Google, Microsoft and Amazon. Since then, we have signed up over 100 developers of which 25% are active users. Our pricing is very disruptive. Current customers include both rapidly growing startup companies and enterprises.
