We are building the "mouse" for VR and the immersive platforms in the next wave of computing! VR is currently not at mass adoption scale partly because of cost and friction but ultimately because of the poor user interfaces available. Locomotion in virtual worlds is difficult and counter-intuitive. We have created a simple solution to this problem as the first product in our IP roadmap. The Alto board is a physical flexible pad you stand on that tricks your brain into believing you are floating on a hoverboard in VR. With this hoverboard you can fly around intuitively with complete freedom without the commonly cited problem of "motion-sickness". This product belongs in the home and could one day be shipped with VR headsets. We are validating the value proposition of this tool with our first sales to architects who want to move around virtual models, VR arcades who want to pack people in their venues and Rehabilitation clinics who see this tool as beneficial for balance therapy.
