• Lead projects impacting our Command product- it will include both frontend and backend engineers in your team
• Be able to roll up your sleeves and actively write code or prototype new features

• Be the subject matter authority on the full Verkada suite of products and offerings and articulate the value-added benefits to Verkada’s reseller partners.
• Drive increased revenue growth from Verkada’s top strategic partners through technical enablement, deepening relationships with technical stakeholders and ensuring Verkada stays top of mind for partner pre-sales engineers to ultimately enable more effective partner upsell and cross sell, gaining wallet share and mindshare.

• Build scalable distributed systems capable of handling high traffic from 100s of thousands of devices deployed around the world
• Work with high concurrency key-value storage systems (Redis, DynamoDB)

• Prospect, qualify, and follow up on leads to generate sales opportunities.
• Educate potential customers on Verkada's product offerings and value propositions.

• Edge Storage: We own the on-camera storage stack that turns every Verkada camera into a self-contained recording device. Our mandate is reliable, accessible, secure, and observable storage of customer video. Footage is preserved instantly across SD cards and raw NAND, even during network outages or sudden power loss, for millions of cameras and petabytes of video. This extends to the backend services that manage retention, cloud backup, and storage health across the fleet.

• Systems and operations: identifying and implementing improvements in current workflows and processes that can help improve efficiency and visibility - this might be in Salesforce.com or other tools.

• Be the primary business partner to several of our senior leaders
• Drive financial planning and budgeting as the accountable owner for key portions of our several hundred million dollar budget

• Design scalable control planes and data primitives for all Verkada products
• Build scalable distributed systems capable of handling high traffic from hundreds of thousands of devices deployed around the world.

• Lead, coach, train, and motivate direct reports through pipeline reviews, managing daily and weekly activities, forecasts and closed deals to ensure individual and team quotas.
• Work cross-functionally to align prioritization & resources amongst, sales, product, marketing, engineering, and operations.

• Define the roadmap for our signaling and media paths, across first- and third-party and online and offline pipelines
• Deliver a consistent answering experience on every endpoint: iOS, Android, web browsers, PSTN and VoIP

• Own users, groups, credentials, access levels, door associations, and schedules. This is the conceptual core of the product, and getting it right is the difference between an admin who trusts the system and one who works around it
• Own the administrative interfaces and experience across web and mobile: bulk operations, search...
