VeraDAT develops expertise-driven solutions to combat fraud, money laundering and financing of terrorism. Currently, financial institutions have limited access to the information needed to tackle financial crime. Data silos make client-risk assessments both difficult and time-consuming as key data is scattered between financial institutions. This can be clearly seen in the example of private watchlists, whose non-public nature allows financial criminals to migrate between institutions even after being detected by one.

To address this problem VeraDAT introduces VeraHIT - a collaborative platform that enables privacy-friendly data matching for financial institutions. VeraHIT enables financial institutions to access clients’ background information that before would have remained undetected due to fear of revealing its source or exposing sensitive data.

Our matching process uses the latest cryptographic protocols to keep the source of the information private.
