Our customers are top solar and energy storage companies. We get data out of utilities and into the hands of companies that can use it, such as solar (like SolarCity), energy storage (like Tesla), and energy management companies (Fitbit for energy use). We have paying customer and excellent growth. Access to utility data means a larger sales funnel, a frictionless customer journey, and easy data verification for financing for new energy technologies. We are making money and conveniently saving the planet at the same time (addressing climate change). Our desks are solar panels. Co-founders Elena and Daniel started the company because they saw the data problem first hand in the solar industry. Elena has expertise in the energy industry and extensive contacts which she has leveraged for business development. Daniel is a chemical engineer by training, has a patent in sulphur testing, and was CTO of Fitocracy, a 500 startups company. Most recently, he was at a solar company putting solar panels on schools. Both are active in the energy and tech communities. We have over a $1M in funding, primarily convertible notes. We also have funding from SunShot Catalyst and SunShot Incubator grant for $760k (non-dilutive!). People work out of the office most days. Some people show up early and leave early (or leave for networking/BD events); some people show up later and stay later. Outside hobbies and projects are encouraged - it makes everything more interesting. Our building is right next to 19th St Bart in Oakland. There are great restaurants and bars in our neighborhood.
