UpsellGuru is a system that empowers hotels to offer their guests upgrade opportunities and additional guest services prior to their arrivals.

1. Hotels sends a pre-arrival email to guests with the possibility to bid on a room upgrade and book add-ons (such as breakfast, transportation, etc).
2. The guest is given the chance to bid online for a room upgrade. They are shown different rooms of higher category, with a sliding scale with a minimum and maximum offer. The guest can give an offer for one or more room types - the system displays the offer strength.
3. The hotel receives the offers and it is up to them to decide to either accept or deny them. The hotel can decide when to send the upgrade offers and when to make the upgrade decision.
4. If the offer is accepted the guest will receive an upgrade for the additional price. Otherwise their reservation remains as it was.
5. Extras services booked are instantly confirmed to the guests – and an additional revenue source to the hotel.
