Upper Neighbor careers

Upper Neighbor is a mobile app currently available on iOS and Android devices. For the tens of thousands of students that begin instrumental learning in their school ensemble, there is no centralized platform where they can engage in self-directed learning at home. In the same way that a fitness app supplements workouts, Upper Neighbor supplements individual practice. The platform contains progressive learning material for students just learning how to make their first notes, all the way to students who are at the level of a typical high school senior.

Users are placed into a playing level based on their ability, and they can filter through content that is tailored to their determined playing level. Other instrumental learning programs focus on single instruments, but Upper Neighbor contains material for all of the standard band instruments. Because it is all centralized on one platform, it is easily adoptable by school districts, band directors, and group lesson teachers.
