Here at uPage, we’re trying to change the way the internet looks in the developing world. According to research by digital marketing agencies Hootsuite and We Are Social, there are more than 35 million internet users in Pakistan. Millions more are expected to join that number as access to the internet becomes a new and growing phenomenon throughout the developing world. Millions have used Facebook as a platform to connect with each other and increasingly individuals, as well as businesses, are using social media to share their stories with the wider world; but, individual websites are the building blocks of the world wide web. There isn’t a single platform available that makes website building a simple and affordable process for millions of people in developing countries – uPage aims to change that.
