Culture and benefits at UnVale
Culture overview
At UnVale, we’re committed to building a progressive and inclusive work environment, as we know it’s important for our teammates to have full, enriching lives within both the workplace and outside of it. Our team is primarily composed of underrepresented folks in tech, and we plan to continue this pattern moving forward. We're committed to building an introvert-friendly culture that's accommodating of all different types of people. We don't want the loudest person in the room to always be the most heard. We lean into asynchronous communication as often as we can, eliminate video fatigue by frequently using audio-only meetings, and continuously make space for team members to vocalize their needs in the workplace. Lastly, we're creative to the core. Every member of our team has an original character in our UnVale comic, which serves as a telling of our company and vision. You'll see that our benefits reflect our commitment to boosting our team creativity. "The leadership at UnVale has made it their mission to create one of the most inclusive, warm, welcoming and diverse spaces I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. They have given me the opportunity to explore and grow my creative strengths which has been a great gift. I have grown here in ways I could never have imagined. UnVale is a place where you can truly be heard and your opinions are not just valued but also welcomed." - Morgan, Community Manager "Working for UnVale has been a fun and unique experience for me so far. I am a busy mom of two young kids and the team is always so great about working with my schedule and making sure my personal life and mental health are taken care of, which goes for the everyone involved not just me. Not enough companies understand how important that is and I am proud to be a part of it. I can't wait to see the kind of community we build!" - Sciggles, Head of Community Support and Engagement
