Real insurance cover is ~12% with around two thirds expenses funded Out of Pocket.Further, private healthcare OOP is expected to represent US$ 100 bn opportunity by 2030 (currently at US$28 bn). Consumer financing in healthcare is a nascent industry and offers potential to build multi-billion dollar AUM over next five years. At Unofin, using technology & healthcare data we want to create innovative finance products to disrupt healthcare financing space. Founding team has experience of healthcare investing and startup building with Healthquad, Oyorooms and Rivigo. Core team has a cumulative experience of ~50 years in financial services, healthcare and technology.
