In a real estate transaction we need to validate ownership, authenticity, sharing and payment of commissions, taxes and public fees, and also exclusivity contractual terms. Our platform will automate authentication (using SSI within the EU) and validate documents, streamline commission payments (through the Open banking - PSD/2) and will ensure contractual terms are respected, making the process decentralised, transparent, more secure, trustworthy and less prone to fraud. By using smart contracts, it will allow the ecosystem to receive certified documents in an aggregated way in opposition to what is now siloed within different parties. Smart contracts will also allow agreement’s closing between parties, registration of this transaction in the property register, transfer of the purchase price and orchestrate commission fees’ payments to brokers and realtors.
