Uniscope is a mobile platform that seeks to personalize and democratize the college discovery process for students around the world. By connecting prospective students to current college students with shared academic and extracurricular interests, Uniscope seeks to empower students to discovery the school that's right for them.

Uniscope is a resource for students throughout the college application process, whether students are searching for:

- General guidance about the application and admissions process
- Answers to specific questions about specific academic or extracurricular interests
- A more accessible way to “visit” schools (e.g., taking virtual tours via Uniscope video chat)

It's become clear to us that many students feel that they don't have access to information that's relevant to them at the colleges they're interested in, whether it's a state school across the world or a small liberal arts school near home. Moreover, students coming from under-resourced high schools don't have the same networks at elite colleges that other students might have, and these students may be less likely to have access to guidance counselors that have experience applying to such institutions. We envision Uniscope as a tool to bridge the divide of opportunity, and give students of all backgrounds a chance to connect with current students at the schools they're interested in.
