Union Capital Boston careers

UCB is a contemporary approach to building pathways out of poverty. UCB is informed by evidence that small acts leads to larger engagement, and that civic participation of individuals raises economic prospects for a community.

UCB is an App-based information resource for low-income families to participate in their communities, and a loyalty program that rewards these activities. We help members both connect to community resources and reward them financially for doing so. Members use the UCB App (ucbapp.org) to track their activities, earn cash-equivalent rewards points and find events and opportunities.

We hire, train and support community leaders to recruit new Union Capital members (called “Union Capitalists”), connect them with resources, and strengthen community networks. We also partner with mission-driven institutions and enroll their members in our program. UCB has 700 members with a waiting list for members and organizations.
