Designer Perspective: The problem is that typically fashion graduates face 2 options - • To get a job • To build their own brand. Most of these designers go on to leave the fashion industry altogether because they face serious challenges (financial, family, societal, need for investment, etc) and move to other things instead. With UNGOOR, we're eliminating these barriers to entry for fashion designers in building a brand of their own. They can do this sitting at home, while working in a full-time job or just as a hobby. There is a lack of a platform wherein designers & individuals who have the talent and skill in the field, can showcase and sell their creations under their name. Fashion Designers in India, rarely land up a job after completing their graduation in the field which makes them either work in an unsatisfactory position or switch their fields altogether. Also, there are many individuals who are not from the Fashion Field but have in them, the skill & talent to sketch fashion. We allow all such individuals to join UNGOOR by submitting their illustrations which are then converted into garments and are then sold under the Individual's Fashion Label. Consumer Perspective: In doing so, we're also providing customers the opportunity to buy lifestyle clothing and accessories in Designer-wear (high quality and exclusivity) at affordable prices. Most people today think designer-wear and think expensive, slow, tedious and Indian wear. We want to change that mindset completely by providing customers designer-wear at the rate of fast fashion (the best of both worlds). Currently, designer-wear is difficult to discover and shop (at affordable prices), especially in the lifestyle segment. Through UNGOOR, Consumers will be able to shop from Thousands of young talented designers, across segments, with a standardized experience while being assured of quality, on a single platform.
