Our core technology is born from the labs of SENS Research
Foundation, the only non‐profit devoted to reversing age‐related disease by
addressing the underlying causes of those diseases. There, we developed a robust intertwined computational chemistry system and synthetic chemistry program – the platform allows us to make new molecules to specifically target the core causal agents of atherosclerosis; the oxidized cholesterol derivatives that inhibit the proper functioning of the cardiovascular self-repair system, and that contribute to the formation of the necrotic core of atherosclerotic plaques. The Underdog compounds target these cholesterol derivatives safely and effectively, without interfering with key enzymatic systems. This offers the possibility of a new class of drugs that could reverse, rather than merely treat, this deadly disease!
