Founded in 2008

Tweetworks was a bit ahead of its time. The concept was simple, we created a platform that allowed Twitter users to have fully threaded conversations. In the early years of Twitter users had to click "In Reply To" over and over to manually page through a conversation. We solved that problem for users.

We also created a groups architecture which is very similar to what you see on Facebook Groups today. The notion was that hashtags, while simple, lacked real context for users. On Tweetworks users could create or join a public or private group and have conversations about specific topics.

Tweetworks was all about context. Twitter, while extremely powerful lacks the context that many social media users expect. We sought to solve this challenge.
