Turf.ly divides the world into a grid of virtual neighborhood blocks called “turfs." Capture and own turfs by collecting the most points among your friends and neighbors based on only one rule: you have to actually walk or run to get the points. Turf.ly rewards consistency and strategy over speed and ability, so anyone can play against anyone, whether you run, walk, hike, deliver the mail or walk dogs.

Turf.ly uses a (proprietary) real-time, auto-tracking engine that works entirely in the background while consuming only half the battery of similar apps. It works with or without a network connection, for iPhones 4-6+ and Apple Watch.
