Of the two co-founders, one is a Harvard-trained international expert in chronic diseases and is one of a handful of doctors that pharmaceutical companies seek as an advisor for clinical and marketing programs. The other co-founder is a 10-year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in marketing in the chronic disease markets. His ultimate motivating factor though, is that he has a chronic autoimmune disease that devastated his life in the past.
