I founded TruNude because I don't match the color "nude." I have also always had terrible experiences finding bras to fit my body and rarely go bra shopping. In 2013 I needed to purchase bras for 3 weddings I was in, and when I finally found the bras that fit me, the "nude" color that I sought to conceal the bras under my gowns did not match, and I was told that bras in my skin tone "don't exist." Following that experience I sought a solution to improve the bra buying experience and provide women with an option to have bras that match their skin. After interviewing over 60 women about the use of color detection software to determine skin color and dye fabric, and surveying hundred more about their bra shopping habits, I learned that I was not alone. The majority of women seek an easy way to purchase bras that are comfortable, high quality, well fitting, sexy, and match their skin tones. A solid color match provides security that a woman's look is seamless and sophisticated, allows women to wear more types of clothing, and encourages them to embrace their bodies. TruNude is led by a former global consultant with project management experiences at Bloomberg Associates, New York City government and Rubenstein Communications. TruNude is a natural extension of her career that's been dedicated to improving lives through creativity, public service,and sound communications strategies. She is aided by a talented team of people including a fashion advisor, a product development consultant, a marketing strategist, an operations advisor, and a copy writer.
