My name is Mark, and I’ve spent the last decade seeking a profound understanding of cultures and languages. From being fortunate enough to sail around the world in the Navy to learning everything I could about my Colombian ex-girlfriend’s language and culture. Currently, there are 1.6 Billion people worldwide learning a Foreign Language. 1.5 of those people are learning English. We live in a Country where 40% of Fortune 500 companies were started by an Immigrant. A country where an Immigrant is twice as likely to be an Entrepeneur than a Native born citizen. The Language Fluency process needs to be streamlined and to address this, I made Trevo, the first Free Social Messaging App that focuses on Language Exchange and giving you the tools to become Conversationally Fluent in a new Language; seamlessly, in the palm of your hand. The other guys pride themselves on Language Learning, Trevo's focus is showing you dialect, expressions, real components of the Language that you can use in a real world environment. The Foreign Language Education Industry is a Billion Dollar Industry that still lacks Billion Dollar Quality. Trevo's business model is simple, make good use of the fact that people on average check their phone 150+ times a day. Bringing the world closer together through a deeper understanding of Language and Culture isn’t a goal of mine, it’s a responsibility, and it should be yours too.
