Trashbots careers

Trashbots develops highly affordable STEM education kits that leverage commonly found objects to maximize problem-solving & creativity, especially in underprovided communities. It combines the BBC micro:bit with proprietary electronics, motors, battery, sensors, custom case and an app on IOS, Chrome OS or Android platforms or a textual interface for programming to foster a complete mechatronics experience that scales across K-12 & simplifies teacher instruction. The idea behind Trashbots (the Trashbots ethos) is to use “trash” or materials found around you to build your robot (e.g. water bottle, cans, etc.). The platform scales from kindergarten through 12th grade and students can interact with building blocks, a graphical interface on the app or through JS, Python, and CAD. Lastly, the platform was designed with teachers and students in mind. Teachers can use kits with little training and employ our structured project-based curriculum to have an easy classroom experience.
