Culture and benefits at TradingView

Culture overview

If you work with, or for us, you’ll quickly come to realise that we’re a no-nonsense, no-ego lot, who want to move quickly and produce exceptional work to give to the world. We have a contrarian streak in us and don’t just follow the crowd, but think for ourselves, often moving against the traditional consensus. Platform first Our product is what makes us special. It comes above everything and every single one of us. Everything we do should be to the betterment of the platform and its users. Unity > hierarchy We have a flat structure, with executives working alongside junior members of the team on a daily basis. We don’t believe in ‘strategists’ – everybody pulls their weight on executing the mission that we’re bringing to life. We collaborate with the deepest respect for our colleagues, while also acknowledging that views may differ sometimes. Challenge external norms We don’t believe what everyone else does just because it is a popular opinion, and we will always challenge the mainstream way of doing things. The most common question you will hear us ask is: ‘but why?’. That can be frustrating, but it’s essential for understanding the opportunities ahead of us, to lead where others follow, and allow the platform the best chance of standing above the pack. Be good, be brave It should go without saying, but we follow the categorical imperative to act in the ways that we expect the rest of society to also act. No shady business. Sometimes this involves making brave or unpopular choices. We accept this and try our best to live up to the high standards we have set ourselves – even in the most challenging circumstances. Always expect excellence We strive at every opportunity to do our best work, and we expect only the best from our agencies and partners too. The mission we have is hard and difficult, and we will not reach it unless we put every last bit of juice, effort and creativity into what we make. This is the job of our lives and we act accordingly.
