TowerView Health helps the 1 in 3 Americans with a chronic illness better manage complex medication regimens at home. Patients on TowerView’s service receive pre-sorted medication trays filled by a pharmacy that insert into a smart pillbox that can sense when patients forget a dose and sends an automated text, phone, email, or on-box reminder to patients and their caregivers. TowerView nurses will follow up and call patients who are continually nonadherent. TowerView sells its service to health plans to improve star ratings and reduce hospitalizations and to health systems to increase their outpatient pharmacy business and reduce 30 day readmissions. Patients/caregivers receive the service for free.
