It’s hard to explain to a child that the ‘C’ in OCEAN sounds like “SH”, in RACE like an “S”, in CELLO a “CH” but is silent in YACHT, and a good old “C” in COOK. These words, and thousands upon thousands of others, need to be memorized. Or at least they used to. While all dictionaries include pronunciations of words, it turns out that no dictionary includes a map of which letters are making those sounds. TinyIvy developed that algorithm, uncovering the most important building blocks of the English Language. It’s not the ABCs. It is the ‘S’ that sounds like a ‘Z’ in IS, or the ‘O’ that sounds like a ‘U’ in LOVE. The results of this work are both patentable and incredible. We unlocked reading. Reading is a math probelm, and now it's been solved. We have developed a way where a kid can learn just 50 TIPS letters (Ś, Ā, etc.) and READ FIFTY THOUSAND WORDS by themselves. It's a miracle. Now we are building products to get this system out into the world.
