Thought into Action started at Colgate in 2009 with a simple goal: to help aspiring entrepreneurs leverage a liberal arts mindset to identify and understand problems, and create sustaining ventures that solve those problems.

With a constant bias towards action, and a highly engaged community of mentors with deep industry expertise, we provide our entrepreneurs with the skills and support necessary to launch their ventures and take them as far as they want to go. Through hard work, perseverance, passion and expert coaching, our entrepreneurs refine their ideas, learn the art of the pitch, build teams, take risks, learn to sell and negotiate, problem-solve, deal with failure, and attract investors and resources for growth.
