Thorn builds technology to defend children from sexual abuse. Since 2012, Thorn has been building partnerships across industry, non profits, and law enforcement to bring the best minds to bear on one of the worlds darkest problems.

Our teams focus on building the technology, products, systems and relationships that will allow our impact to scale. Technically, projects in these areas will span a wide variety of engineering and analysis topics relevant to cybersecurity and intelligence including adaptive crawling/scraping, statistical analysis, search, machine learning (NLP, computer vision, sentiment analysis), entity resolution, data pipeline development, UI/API design, and more.
