Current system is super complex and that is a huge gap in industry right now. 70% of US families own pets out of which 38.5% are dog owners. Covid 2020 has been hard on everyone. People cope in different ways and one trend has been that pet ownership rose up to all time high 70% in US. The pet industry is a fragmented supply and demand industry. Digital platforms can bring fragmented marketplaces together by connecting the supply (over 150,000 pet businesses, according to APPA) with the demand (over 138 million dogs and cats) enabling businesses and pet owners to find one another To fill that void, We built a dog centric platform theDogHood - connecting dog owners near you and beyond. Our mission is to hold you hands in journey from puppy owners to dog owners to dog lovers - A Community, an online platform.
