The Commons careers

The Commons is a learning community for ambitious professionals focused on Strategic Business Roles in Tech. We accelerate careers by combining upskilling + community + mentorship. What's different about The Commons is our emphasis on community & mentorship. The community is there beyond the specific Sprint (program) a member takes, and is highly engaged - active discussions, a ton of events, and private job opportunities. The Sprints are structured to simulate on-the-job training - members work directly with a mentor from a top tech company, so they can build tangible learnings and impactful relationships.

# What we believe:

Careers are no longer static ladders to climb. They’re dynamic, non-linear and, in our humble opinion, 100x more exciting. Yet today’s education institutions are built for yesterday’s careers. What people *need* to learn and the way people *want* to learn, for successful careers in tech, is changing. Our model - combining project-based, mentor-led, community-driven learning - is leading this new wave in career-based education.
