The Wild Neighbors Database Project careers

The Wild Neighbors Database Project is a nonprofit organization which promotes international wildlife rehabilitation by developing online data management software and helping implement its use worldwide to gather and exchange wildlife data. Through the continuing development of data management software, including Wildlife Rehabilitation MD, we are enabling wildlife rehabilitators to share their experiences and expertise, so that together we can continue to improve our best practices.

The worldwide impact on wildlife from expanding human populations, environmental degradation, climate change and disease epidemics is rapidly increasing the need for wildlife hospitals to establish and maintain electronic record keeping. Databases that enable wildlife rehabilitators to standardize, streamline and improve wildlife care help save hundreds of thousands of wild animals and provide early warning to health agencies of the onset or potential for wildlife and human disease epidemics.
