The Trade careers

The Trade is building the operating system for the people who design and build homes. We are developing an all-in-one software platform for contractors, interior designers, architects, builders, and other trade professionals who currently run their businesses across disconnected tools, spreadsheets, emails, accounting systems, project management apps, and invoicing platforms.

Our goal is to bring the core workflows of a project-based trade business into one place, including project planning, client management, time tracking, billing, expenses, accounting, inventory, proposals, purchase orders, invoices, reporting, and AI-powered workflows. The Trade is being built alongside Marea Clark Interiors, a luxury residential interior design studio, giving us a real-world environment to test workflows, identify operational pain points, and build software around the actual needs of trade businesses.

We are early, ambitious, and focused on solving real problems for an industry that has been underserved by modern software. Our vision is to help trade professionals operate more efficiently, make better decisions, deliver better client experiences, and spend less time buried in administrative work.
