The Primary School careers

We developed a technology platform called “Atlas” with the goal of using technology to help solve the complex needs of children that involve multiple people executing multiple parts of a plan. Currently, systems and people that support children are in siloes (e.g., parents, teachers, pediatricians, specialists). They rarely share information, let alone deeply collaborate on the needs of the children they support. This results in inaccurate or incomplete diagnoses and poorly coordinated plans (that may be redundant, conflicting, or leave gaps in care). For example, a child showing a behavioral and cognitive delay in school, may be facing a language issue that a speech pathologist could diagnose, have a medical history that explains how a teacher might support them, and have home-based needs that are contributing factors. Atlas aims to solve the problem of bringing those people together to understand the full picture of need and develop a consistent and comprehensive plan for change.
