Tertulia Chamber Music careers

Tertulia, the Spanish word for an intellectual, salon-style social gathering, is the name of a chamber music series here in NYC. Tertulia is a chamber music series that presents concerts in restaurants, in an atmosphere that combines lively conversation and dining with the opportunity to hear some of the greatest performers of our time. Tertulias are formatted as dinner-concerts, with three performances separated by extended intermissions. A typical Tertulia presents 60 minutes of music, with at least 75 minutes set aside for eating, drinking, and socializing. During performances restaurant service is suspended and conversation stops.
