The “node based” technology is much more efficient than its competitors: a) it's faster, thanks to the availability of processing “nodes” that will encode simultaneously different portion of the video; b) it is more secure, since the video is never processed by a single entity; c) it is scalable, thanks to the fact that the peer network can be quickly and easily extended at no cost; d) it has lower cost, thanks to the business model that utilizes “third parties” unutilized CPU and rewards them with a token, with less hardware investments. Tangram is be using permissioned and public blockchain as an innovative and secure tool to to identify and authenticate users, to empower and synchronize the task to be performed, to track and manage encoding activities, and to record credits and reward the users for their encoding activity. The reward will be granted in Tangram token.
