What we're looking for

Boost is looking for a driven, curious, and proactive full stack developer. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, moves fast, and knows how to get things done. You will be one of our first dedicated engineering hires, and that will come with its own set of unique challenges and responsibility given to you.

You'll partner with our Lead Designer and CTO to design and implement systems that power transactions for top brands. This is an incredible opportunity to tackle core engineering challenges and scale our organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement API endpoints for new user-facing features
• Plan and implement data model and DB for new user-facing features
• Update frontend code to reflect new features
• Refactor legacy code and architecture into scalable systems
• Write documentation for existing and new code and assist engineering leadership in architecture efforts
• Set up and maintain dev-ops tooling for deploying code

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in full stack software development, preferably in e-commerce, creator economy or related industries
• Proficient in designing responsive JS frontends
• Proficient in using JS and TypeScript for backend logic
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience deploying serverless cloud functions and API logic
