Maintenance of crucial assets and monitoring of processes is still largely based on Excel sheets. There are ERP's which showcases maintenance data or helps in scheduling preventive maintenance, but it is largely limited to the desktops and laptops. These costly ERP software’s charge on per user basis, which makes it very costly and discourages more usage of the same. There is no digital penetration on the ground level where the actual maintenance takes place. The technicians still fill out checklists made on excel sheets. There is also no photo or video evidence of any maintenance activity except for the checklist.
